The life and times of a normal university student

Seventeenth Post

It's been a while. So hi, readers. How have you been? Well, I hope.
Speaking of "well", there's a bug going around campus. My roommate and I got it, but she seems to have progressed into some advanced stage of illness while I am coming out of it.
I suppose you've all heard about Google's social networking attempt, Buzz. Guess what? I don't have any horror stories regarding its existence.
The most "exciting" thing that happened to me in this long absence was giving blood. I did not feel like a reverse vampire. I felt like a person sitting in a weird chair with my feet up and a needle in my elbow. Then I had to lay down. It was pretty boring. Then I went to work.
In school-related news, I'm in a chemistry class. I've done this part before, but I have to take it again because my AP test score was just a bit too low. I was concerned that it would be horrible, awful, and painful to sit through the class all over again, but it's more like a review. It's nice and easy, but challenging enough to keep me from falling asleep in class. Much as I hate to say it, it's not that boring.
Right now, I'm sitting at my extremely messy desk writing this post and thinking that I should do my dishes. But I have my boring job in a few minutes, so the dishes will have to keep waiting... and waiting... and waiting.

Sixteenth Post

As usual, I type this at night when I should be doing homework. But homework is stupid, especially when it's nigh impossible to get the website that the physics and chemistry departments here use to do homework to cooperate. My evening was not boring; it was full of screaming and frustration that the bloody website wouldn't let me submit my answers. Sometimes I hate technology...
And then I get better.
On a completely unrelated note, I just found my tea sitting at my elbow, untouched since I poured the water. I am now slightly sad, especially since it's very weak even after about half an hour. But my thick ceramic teacups hold in heat pretty well... It's still quite warm.
Goodnight, my bored readers. Enjoy your hopefully boring weeks...

Fifteenth Post

You know those people that just grate upon the nerves of all who are around them? They answer all questions, whether or not they were meant to answer them, they insert themselves into conversations that do not involve them, they comment on things that do not require comment... I wish that my class was boring, since it would mean that she wasn't in there. This is why boring is better than exciting. It's exciting, alright, since you're never sure when she'll open her mouth next...
However, the rest of my schedule looks like it should be pretty boring, so my reputation is secure. Right now, I'm blogging when I should be sleeping in preparation for my 09:00 class, which is supremely boring. So now I'm going to go to bed, since I didn't really have anything to say in the first place.
